A Webcomic artist must juggle with severals skills :

script writer, storyboarder, set designer, costum designer, producer…

You have to be all at once !

Making webcomic looks like doing a feature film or an animated movie without budget. Well, it’s not scary Dave Stankoven !

Hello Dave !

– Where do you come from ?
St. Louis MO
– How old are you ? ( tell it or not !)
25

Jonsu, Various anime and western animations

Nope. Film School.

Write, sketch, add text, line, color, add effects, render.
– What your webcomic is about, in a symbolic way, the hidden sense ?
There’s always something beautiful and it’s usually hidden.

You just have to look for it.

– How do you see your future ?
I gaze longingly at a fogged crystal ball until images swirl before me.
I just want to tell the best stories I can.
– Your next goal ?
Finish The Rainy Days spin-off “SeasonS” Oh and my two novels and two short films and possibly write a feature film.
– Advices for beginners ?
Just get started. The sooner you begin the sooner you can weed out

your own problem areas with your work. Oh and keep it simple.
– Your technical secret trick ?
Animate is my secret trick because it draws in vectors so I can export as big as needed.
