The story consists of three parallel narratives, one of which is about to reach its epic conclusion.
FALLEN HEROES is a story within a story, a superhero tale from the mass media of the PITSBERG world that has an ongoing social impact. Characters in PITSBERG reference it often, and it is to them what the Marvel or Star Wars movies are to us. The series focuses on five heroes, all of whom command elemental powers to protect Earth from alien invasion.
As the title indicates, they fall one by one. Each of the five chapters focuses on a different hero making the ultimate sacrifice against their greatest threat. In some cases, that threat comes from within. The fifth and final chapter, going live on September 10, depicts the return of the first Fallen Hero, Katharos. Her element is the Dark Energy that suffuses the entire universe. Thought to be lost forever, her comeback shocks the world, especially when she delivers a message from space that no one is ready to hear.
